I founded and edited GIRL FIEND, an independent magazine dedicated to championing women in music and DIY scenes, striving to challenge and subvert the way female musicians are covered and portrayed amidst the gender disparity with in the music industry.

GIRL FIEND won the BBC Best New Magazine Brand award in October 2017 for the now sold-out Issue 1, featuring interviews with Japanese Breakfast, Dream Wife, Girl Ray, The Big Moon, and more.
